Peninsula Stroke Association and our co-sponsors presented the 7th
year of the Victory Over Stroke program in recognition of the National
Stroke Awareness Month in May and in honor of those whose lives have
been impacted by stroke. The programs featured distinguished medical
panels, motivational speakers followed by Q & A sessions, and exhibitors’
booths.
380 guests, including 200 clinicians, attended the 7th annual Victory
Over Stroke program which were held for the first time at three venues:
May 10th in Millbrae, May 16th in San Jose, and May 22 in Palo Alto.
This year’s programs, which were entirely sponsored by The Magnolia of
Millbrae, O’Connor Hospital, and the Garden Court Hotel, raised over
$55,000 in much needed funds for the continuation of our stroke
community education program.
