Stroke is Treatable
Medical treatment is the first 3 hours is critical to minimize the damage and maximize the recovery. If you have a stroke
caused by a clot, you may be able to receive the clot-busting drug tPA or have the option to be evaluated for other
treatments.
If the symptoms disappear after a few minutes or hours, you may have had a temporary clot or mini-stroke, known as a TIA
( transient ischemic attack). See your doctor as soon as possible.
