The Peninsula Stroke Association (PSA) is a not-for-profit organization serving the
people of Santa Clara and San Mateo counties in Northern California.  
PSA's mission is to reduce the incidence of stroke through education
and to help alleviate stroke's devastating aftermath through
programs to support survivors and caregivers.

Annual Victory Over Stroke

May is National Stroke Awareness Month, and the Peninsula Stroke Association presents Victory Over Stroke every year during the
month of May as part of our community-wide campaign to  increase awareness about stroke.  Victory Over stroke is both an educational
and fundraising event for PSA.
 For seven years, a distinguished medical panel from local stroke centers present the latest in stroke
treatment, prevention and research.

Rhythm of Autumn

For two years PSA has organized the Rhythm of Autumn: An evening of Arts and Auction at the Community School of Music and Arts
in Mountain View.  In this social event, you can enjoy a great silent auction, strolling dinner, and musical performances.  Proceeds from
this event benefit our programs for stroke survivors and their caregivers.

The Human Race - May 10, 2008

The Human Race is the annual premier community fundraising event providing all nonprofit organizations the opportunity to raise
money for their programs and services.  
EVERYBODY can join the PSA team, collect pledges, and walk, ride the wheelchair or run with
us.  The Human Race takes place every year on the Saturday before mother's day.
