Ability Resource Fair

The Ability Resource Fair is an annual event
where stroke survivors, family caregivers,
clinicians, and those working with people with
brain injuries have access to useful
information and available resources.

Exhibitors showcase how their therapeutic
devices, research studies, and support
services can help people with brain injuries
on their path to recovery and, most importantly,
how to get back into being
part of their family life.

Stroke survivors, family caregivers, clinicians, and those working with people with brain
injuries attended the 2011 fair and enjoyed the exhibitors’ booths, an interesting
educational talk on ongoing recovery after stroke, health screenings, massage, raffle
prizes, and refreshments.

As the name of the fair suggests,
it is all about ABILITY, not DISABILITY. The fair
offered useful information and available resources by exhibitors who showed how their
therapeutic devices, research studies, and support services can
help people with brain injuries on their path to recovery and, most importantly, how to
get back into being part of their family life.

PSA thanks our fair sponsors among them: Care Indeed, Home Care Assistance, Mills
Peninsula Health Services, Mission City Community Fund, Mobility Works, Myomo,
SanBio, Scheiman Rebuild Fitness, Skills Plus, and Visiting Angels Homecare and
Respite. We also thank Jamba Juice, Trader Joe's, and Heaven on Earth Massage
Therapy for their support.

If you attended the 4th annual Ability Resource Fair, we would like to hear from you.
Please share your ideas, comments or suggestions for the next fair by emailing us at
